Ingredients
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/3 cup walnuts
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp hemp or chia seeds
Servings: Balls
Instructions
  1. Soak dates in a bowl with warm water for 5 minutes (to soften)
  2. Drain water from dates, place in food processor with nuts, cocoa powder, vanilla, coconut, and seeds
  3. Pulse or process until mixture becomes fine, crumbly, and begins to stick together
  4. Roll mixture into balls using the palms of your hands. Continue to form balls with remaining mixture. Store in freezer to keep fresh.
  5. *for more flavor, roll balls in additional cocoa or coconut before freezing
