Ingredients
  • 1/2 banana
  • 3/4cup skim or 1% milk
  • 1/2 – 3/4cup plain rolled oats
  • 1/4tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1tbsp walnuts or pecans(chopped or whole)
  • 1tbsp almonds(chopped or whole)
  • 1/2tsp hemp or chia seeds(or mixture of any seeds)
  • 1/2tsp unsweetened coconut
Instructions
  1. Place banana in bowl. Add small amount of milk and mash with fork for even distribution of banana flavor throughout oatmeal. Alternatively, banana can be sliced if preferred
  2. Add oats, cinnamon, raisins and remaining milk to bowl. Stir
  3. Microwave for 2 minutes or until oats soften
  4. Top with walnuts, almonds, seeds and coconut
